Margarita Carmen Cansino, a miss acknowledged to the world as Rita Hayworth, was among the most exciting actresses in cinema history, just she was practically much than an attractive face. Rita was an exceptionally gifted dancer, and her executions personified a compounding of force and sensibility that set her aside from other cinema temptresses, and made her just as fashionable feminine audiences.

From her character, it's difficult to conceive that the actual Rita Hayworth was a really timid woman with eminent insecurities. She was an amazing actress, but the critics never admitted that. It's an acknowledgment to her powers that she was capable to play roles like "Gilda" so cleanly that the world flirted with idea that the person and the persona are one in the same.
